Pi Core Team releases meaningful updates on GitHub!
The Pi Core Team recently updated the official Pi Demo App GitHub repository and added the following commit:
"Add U2A token payment flow using IRRA"
If you look at the source code, you can see that new parameters have been added to the Pi SDK.

This parameter allows the app to directly specify the token to use for payment.
Until now, payments have been made by default with Pi, but this suggests that in the future, a structure where payments are made by selecting a specific ecosystem token may be supported.
For example, if a game issues its own ecosystem token ‘LNH Token’ in the future,
The game will have a basis for requesting payment in Pi Wallet with LNH Token rather than Pi.
This is the ▲Launchpad that Pi Network has been continuously promoting. ▲Ecosystem Tokens ▲This is a change that fits well with the long-term vision of building a diverse dApp economic ecosystem.
Of course, this update does not mean that the feature will be activated immediately. It appears that basic functions have been added at the development stage, and actual application and schedule must be confirmed through an official announcement from the Pi Core Team.
However, it is possible that changing just a few lines of code will become an important foundation for greatly expanding the Pi ecosystem's payment methods and token economy in the future.
