SWIFT and DTCC are reimagining the future of finance.

The biggest change in the global financial system is not simply the emergence of blockchain. SWIFT and DTCC, the core of the existing financial infrastructure, are building a new financial network in line with the tokenization era.

DTCC transitions to tokenized securities market

DTCC successfully conducted limited real-world testing on Besu-based AppChain and Canton Network for actual DTC custody securities in July 2026.

The main test items are:

✅ Tokenized stocks and US Treasury bonds ✅ DvP (Delivery versus Payment) ✅ Securities Lending ✅ Repurchase agreement (Repo) ✅ Collateral provision ✅ Central clearing (CCP) margin management ✅ Token transfer between approved institutions

DTCC plans to officially launch the 'Tokenization Service' in October 2026, and aims to provide DTC tokenization assets on the Stellar network in the first half of 2027.

We are also working with Chainlink to build a collateral management (AppChain) system and strengthen interoperability between institutions.

SWIFT is also changing.

SWIFT is evolving the existing international financial messaging system into a digital asset orchestration platform.

The new architecture is built on Hyperledger Besu (EVM compatible),

✔ Tokenized bank deposits ✔ 24-hour international remittance ✔ Structure that connects multiple blockchains simultaneously

is designed to support.

SWIFT's goal is not to move all banks to one blockchain, but to securely connect to various blockchains while maintaining the existing financial system.

Future finance is likely to be structured not through a single blockchain, but through multiple professional networks operating together.

Each network can perform a different role.

🔹 Chainlink: Data, Oracle, Interoperability 🔹 Stellar: Low-cost payments and tokenized asset settlement 🔹 Canton: Institution-only privacy and synchronization deals 🔹Hyperledger Besu: Enterprise smart contract execution 🔹 XRPL: Payment, Liquidity, Stablecoin 🔹 Hedera, Avalanche, XDC, Solana, etc.: Various fields such as tokenization, trade finance, identity authentication, institutional services, etc.

Importantly, not all networks have been officially adopted by SWIFT or DTCC yet.

However, what is clear is that it is difficult for future finance to meet all needs with just one blockchain.

What will be more important going forward is what role it plays in financial infrastructure rather than the price of the coin.✔ Payments ✔ Liquidity ✔ Data ✔ Interoperability ✔ Tokenization ✔ Smart Contracts ✔ Identity authentication ✔ Compliance ✔ Asset Settlement

How reliably these functions are provided will be the core competitiveness of future blockchains.

° SWIFT seeks to connect various blockchains, ° DTCC seeks to move regulated assets to blockchain, ° Global financial institutions are trying to utilize new digital financial infrastructure while maintaining existing systems.

The future of finance is already being designed. What is important now is which blockchain will be responsible for one axis of the core infrastructure.
